Maize Processing
Maize Processing / Corn Flour Production
Training Workshop - Turnkey Training System
The processing of maize into high-quality maize flour and related products is a technically demanding process that requires specialized knowledge, appropriate equipment, and structured training.
For trainees entering this professional field, access to modern processing technology and comprehensive instruction is essential to ensure correct techniques and to establish a strong technical and entrepreneurial foundation.
This comprehensive offer provides all required tools, machinery, and training content for vocational schools, training centers, and capacity-building programs in maize processing technology. It represents a turnkey solution that ensures a safe, efficient, and productive learning environment.
Workshop Scope and Technical Specifications
The maize processing workshop is designed in its standard configuration for 18 to 24 trainees.
The workshop is fully equipped and 100% compliant with international standards.
The professional equipment covers the complete maize processing chain, including:
Cleaning and sorting
Dehusking and degerming
Milling and grinding
Drying
Sieving and classification
Quality control
Packaging and labeling
The standard equipment has an annual production capacity of approximately 30 tons of maize flour, suitable for small to medium-scale training and demonstration facilities.
The system enables the production of multiple maize-based products, including:
High-quality maize flour
Whole maize meal
Degermed corn flour
Bran and germ fractions for animal feed and oil extraction
Processing methods, recipes, and operational parameters are included in the training package.
Advanced training of trainers (ToT) is essential for optimal operation.
In addition to on-site training after installation and commissioning, a 10–12 day intensive training program will be conducted at the manufacturing partner’s facility prior to shipment. This training covers processing technology, hygiene protocols, maintenance, and quality assurance.
A comprehensive set of essential accessories and tools—selected based on industrial best practices—completes the workshop as a fully turnkey solution.
Didactic and Training Content
The training program is specifically designed for vocational schools, technical colleges, and training institutions focusing on maize processing.
The objective is to train skilled professionals who can manage the entire value chain—from raw material handling to marketing—while complying with quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
The program follows a progressive learning structure combining theoretical instruction, practical exercises, case studies, and applied projects.
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
Understand the scientific and technical fundamentals of maize processing
Select and manage raw materials (maize varieties, water, additives, and processing parameters)
Independently perform all processing steps and production phases
Monitor and control product quality, stability, and food safety
Develop recipes and produce a variety of maize-based products
Operate a small-scale production unit or micro-processing enterprise from a technical, legal, and economic perspective
